An adventurous fairy-tale comedy abounding with heroic duels, intrigue and love.Young King Valentin ascends the throne when his father decides to retire. But ambitious Count Meron longs for power and the royal throne; he tries to poison Valentin and manages to put the blame on Peter, the king's best friend. The young queen knows nothing of this, as she and her sister are traveling to their fathers bedside. The journey is quite dangerous as highwaymen are at rampage in the forests. The old king temporarily appoints treacherous Count Meron to act on behalf of his sick son. It is all going from bad to worse, but luckily there is also Maruna the good witch, and the magic swords. And then - we're in a fairy-tale. So evil is justly punished, good is rewarded and all lovers find a happy end.
